"Facets that are not easily definable with technical knowledge. The dynamic range and sensitivity of the sensor are second to none with the file size to rival medium format cameras. Yet the SL2 is still fast, nimble, and unobtrusive to work with. Whether it's a result of his personal taste or the fact that he is an extraordinarily kind, bright, and positive person doing good in the world while being extremely successful, I don't think I’ve ever seen him dressed in dark colors, so obviously it was time to shoot him in a completely blacked-out studio wearing black leather with a single light source. I wanted no distractions from that intensity that makes up this intriguing and complex human.”
